My boyfriend dumped me after telling him I might have gotten pregnant. What should I do?

After having sex with my boyfriend, I didn't get my period, so I texted him that I might be pregnant.

He replied with a single word, "Sorry."

I called him, but he didn't pick up. What should I do if I'm pregnant?
I don't feel comfortable telling my parents either.

You may be feeling anxious about your pregnancy.

Can you find out if you're pregnant first?

You can easily check if you are pregnant with a pregnancy test, which is sold at pharmacies for about 600 to 1000 yen.

However, you can only take the test one week after your due date, or three weeks after sexual intercourse.

If you are having a hard time keeping your pregnancy anxiety to yourself, is there a family member, friend, or trusted adult around you who can be there for you?

If you are pregnant, you have the option as below :

  1. Having the baby and raising it
  2. Having an abortion
  3. Having the baby and having someone else raise it

There is no right or wrong choice, but you may need the support of others.

There is a time limit before you can have an abortion based on where you stay.

In the US, there are different laws in different states.

Overview of state abortion Law

In Singapore and Japan, it is 22 weeks, in Malaysia, it is 120 days. In Thailand, it is 12 weeks.

There are also anonymous phone and email pregnancy counseling services, so it would be good if you could think it over before making a decision.

He may not be able to accept the fact that this is something he didn't expect, but you should first confirm the pregnancy and sort out your feelings about what you want to do from now on, and then think about your future relationship with him.
